The new ledger contract intentionally normalizes commit author timestamps to UTC. Candidate a67f4d8 was authored at 2026-08-24T19:04:45Z, so its release heading must use 2026-08-24 even though the owner timezone had crossed midnight. No 0.1.8 tag exists yet.
