I am writing to formally request the complete, corresponding, and machine-readable Linux kernel source code archive for the Redmi 7A (codename: pine) running on the mi439 platform.
Context: I am an independent OS developer and the main maintainer of the custom ROM firmware project CrystalOS. I am actively building and optimizing Android 11 / LineageOS 18.1 for the mi439 ecosystem. To ensure strict stability, clean compilation, and full hardware compatibility, I need the official consolidated codebase directly from the manufacturer.
Under Section 3 of the GNU General Public License, Version 2 (GPLv2), the distribution of compiled Android firmware binaries creates a mandatory legal obligation to provide the complete corresponding source code used to build those binaries.
While some code segments are hosted across the MiCode repositories, I am requesting a fully consolidated compressed archive (.tar.gz or .zip) specific to this device model, including:
- The complete matching kernel source tree.
- All modified hardware drivers and out-of-tree vendor modules.
- The exact default configuration files (
defconfig) used for official global releases.
