Hey, I'm Luis

CS student at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf, focused on systems programming and algorithmics.

I like building things that are fast and knowing why they're fast.

What I'm working on

ITCH-Processor · C++20, CMake
A limit order book that replays real Nasdaq ITCH 5.0 binary feeds. Passive order operations (add, delete, execute, replace) with a binary file reader and message parser. Built to understand how market data infrastructure actually works.

N-Body Simulator · Java, OpenGL
Barnes-Hut tree-based gravitational simulation with real-time OpenGL rendering. Solar system and three-body figure-eight choreography as demo scenes.

Also

Looking to get into open source — currently scoping first contributions.

Stack

Java · C++ · SQL · Git · CMake · OpenGL

    Nasdaq ITCH 5.0 feed handler in C++20 that reconstructs per-stock limit order books from raw BinaryFILE data, validated against an independent Python reference and benchmarked with Google Benchmark.
