Compatibility Validation
Validation was performed against the current working tree based on commit
261d9ce8512ec3a2f81ced2f264b9e2c89cd78d9, including its existing local changes. No repository files or host dependencies were modified during the validation process.Validation Results
PHPUnit was executed with
E_ALLenabled and configured to fail on warnings, deprecations, and risky tests. Additional smoke tests coveringErrorhandling, context preservation, and the default logger also passed successfully on all three PHP runtimes.Tooling Versions
Composer resolved the following dependency versions during validation:
psr/log3.0.2The repository does not include a committed
composer.lockfile. As a result, dependency resolution was performed independently within disposable containers for each validation run.Scope and Caveats
These results validate compatibility for the tested CLI runtimes and the dependency set resolved during validation. They do not guarantee compatibility with every possible dependency combination or web SAPI environment.
The historical Travis CI configuration still targets PHP 7.1, which is incompatible with the current Composer PHP requirement. If Travis CI is still active, its configuration should be updated accordingly.
Finally, upgrading Composer constraints does not upgrade deployed PHP runtimes. Production environments must be upgraded separately, and PHP workers/processes should be restarted or redeployed to ensure the new runtime version is actually in use.
