chore: prune monorepo residue left after the CLI split (lint/gitleaks/pre-commit config, NOTICE, docs) #2097
Description
Problem
After the split (main replaced by the CLI-only carve, de556ad), some config and doc files still reference monorepo-only paths. None of this affects the build or tests.
Items (from the independent re-review of the carve PR)
.golangci.yml:105,111-114,130-134: exclusions forinternal/testutil/,internal/api/andinternal/config/...|pkg/ladder/..., none of which exist. Prune them..gitleaksignore:3is a path, not a fingerprint, so gitleaks warns "Invalid entry". Remove it or replace it with a real fingerprint..gitignore:95-102:frontend/*entries..gitallowed:39-46: comments citestore_postgres_pgxmock_test.goandhandler_*_test.go..pre-commit-config.yaml: the comment at 51-55 citesinternal/credentials/resolver.go; an exclude hasfrontend/src/index\.html; the gosec comment at 162-163 listspkg/, providers/*modules.Makefile:89vsscripts/gosec-hook.sh:38: the gosec exclude lists differ (the hook adds G117,G118,G122,G702-G706). cmd/configure_azure.go:113andcmd/configure_gcp.go:82help text says "CUDly CloudFormation stack name". Check that the wording is right for the CLI. Thecmd/multi_service_stats.go:173comment references "the MCP server's". ci.yml:61has|| trueon gocyclo, which swallows a crash.ci.yml:463: Snyk iscontinue-on-error, so it's never gating.CLAUDE.md:53says the module is "rooted atcmd/". It's rooted at the repo root;cmd/is the main package.CONTRIBUTING.md:15:./cudly --helpprints no version. Add a--versionflag or drop the line.
Acceptance
No monorepo-only paths remain in config or docs. CI stays green and every gate that ran before still runs.

Note from the #448 review:
.pre-commit-config.yaml:41(check-yaml exclude) still listsdocker-compose.*\.yml,cloudformation/.*andiac/.*/cloudformation/.*, none of which exist in this repo; add to item 5. Item 2 (.gitleaksignore) is handled by the #448 PR.cristim commentedon Oct 16, 2026
Claiming: working on this [claude-cli-impl]. Scope of my PR: the config/doc residue items 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 (if still open), 7, 8 and 12, plus the check-yaml exclude residue noted above (item 2 is done in #2218). Left for later: item 9 (help text in configure_azure.go/configure_gcp.go, which overlap open PRs #2212 and #2233), item 10 (making gocyclo and Snyk gating in CI is an owner decision), and item 11 (CLAUDE.md, which overlaps #2202). The PR will say Refs, not Closes.

Status from [claude-cli-impl]: #2234 merged items 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 12, and #2218 merged item 2. Item 11 (CLAUDE.md saying the module is rooted at cmd/) is already fixed on main: line 44 now says the module is rooted at the repository root. Still open: item 9 (help text in configure_azure.go, which overlaps the open #2212; configure_gcp.go is now free) and item 10 (making gocyclo and Snyk gate CI, which is an owner decision). Unassigning myself until those are actionable.
