Software Engineering student at UEM | Product Manager
I am a Software Engineering student at the State University of Maringa (UEM) and work as a Product Manager.
That combination is the point. I spend my time understanding problems, talking to users and deciding what gets built, and I write code because a PM who understands the technical cost of a decision makes better decisions.
What I care about is software that someone actually uses. The projects below are not exercises: a car wash runs its daily operation on one of them, and a motorcycle shop uses another as its storefront.
Backend and data: Java, Hibernate/JPA, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Frontend: React, Vite, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 Also worked with: Python, JavaFX, Swing, Gleam, Racket Product: Discovery, user interviews, requirements writing, backlog prioritization
Progressive web app that runs the daily operation of a car wash: wash calendar, expense control, team payroll and financial reports with charts. Built mobile first, because it is used on the shop floor with the phone in one hand.
The interesting part is not the stack, it is the remodeling. This is the second version of the problem, and the domain model was rebuilt from scratch: the concept of "schedule" was removed entirely, and a wash became a loose record with a date. One less step for the user, every time.
React 19 Vite Supabase PostgreSQL PWA
Desktop system for a medical clinic: patient records, appointment scheduling, medical charts and automated appointment reminders. Object oriented design with each domain entity in its own package, persistence through JPA/Hibernate.
Java Swing JPA/Hibernate Apache Derby
The first version of the car wash problem, built as a desktop application with an MVC structure and a generic DAO layer. Worth reading next to the web version above: same domain, two architectures, and the reasoning that led me to change the model.
Java 21 JavaFX Hibernate/JPA MySQL
Single page website built for a real motorcycle repair shop. Real requirements, real feedback and a real deadline, which is a very different exercise from a class assignment.
HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript
- Building and maintaining software that real businesses depend on
- Studying full stack web development
- Deepening my product management practice, especially discovery
