feat(link): split radiotap's mixed bitmaps into value subfields and known-bit flags #2647

Closed

Description

@JarryShaw

The owner asked on #2576 for radiotap's mixed bitmaps to be decoded properly. #2576 keeps them as plain integers for now. These fields mix value subfields with known bits, so radiotap.org doesn't define them bit by bit:

  • MCS flags
  • HE data1 and data2
  • HE-MU flags1 and flags2
  • U-SIG common

Each one splits into its value subfields plus a known-bits flag registry. The registry is crawled from its radiotap.org page, like the flag registries #2576 adds, and undefined bits still round-trip.

Blocked on #2576's PR, which owns link/radiotap.py and the radiotap flag registries. This unblocks when that PR merges.

    The PR is #2696. Its Sonnet review is dispatched after the host reboot, so it stays at review: pending.
