fix(ci): Conda Update's GitHub upload wipes the release's name and notes #1657
cron-conda.yml's conda-dist uploads build-bump packages with ncipollo/release-action@v1.21.0 and allowUpdates: true. When an input is left empty, the action's update overwrites the release anyway: the name becomes the tag, the body becomes empty, and prerelease and draft are set to false (src/Inputs.ts:70-81, :103-118, :210-240).
Evidence (gh api repos/JarryShaw/PyPCAPKit/releases/tags/<tag>): v1.4.1 has name v1.4.1 and a body of 0 characters, and v1.5.0a1 has name v1.5.0a1 and 0 characters. Both carry cron-conda +N conda assets. Releases no conda bump touched keep their notes and their PyPCAPKit v… name; v1.5.0b9 has 79,823 characters. The release notes of every version a bump touched are gone.
Fix: set omitNameDuringUpdate, omitBodyDuringUpdate, omitPrereleaseDuringUpdate and omitDraftDuringUpdate to true on that step, and add a test that pins them. Restoring the lost notes is the owner's call.
Blocked until #1656 and #1641 merge, because both edit that step's job.
Unblocked: #1656 and #1641 have merged. A worker has the fix, which sets the four omit*DuringUpdate inputs on conda-dist's release step and adds a test that pins them.
Restoring the release notes already lost is still your call, as is restoring the four v1.5.0b9 assets replaced under #1640.
