Custom process: Process Commands in status, the Console, the Activity log and Run notifications #1387

Closed

Description

@JacobStephens2

Parent

#877 (Spec: Custom processes). Design record: docs/grill-with-docs/877-composable-by-file.md, ADR-0024.

What to build

A Process's Command shows up everywhere a Command does, as "Process <name>" with its endings (succeeded, failed, skipped, interrupted): thirdshift status (and --json), thirdshift show, the Activity log, and the Console's Inbox and run views, including each Step's line and result. Run notifications follow the same User config rules as other Commands.

Acceptance criteria

  • thirdshift status and status --json list a running and a finished Process Command with its name and ending.
  • thirdshift show on it prints each Step's line and where its result is.
  • The Console lists it, and the Inbox places a failed one in Needs you.
  • A failed Process sends a Run notification under the same rules as a Ticket run. A skipped one sends none.
  • Existing stored kinds are unchanged (ADR-0022).
