dir_list() in Linux lists files in a different order than in Windows

dir_list() in Linux lists files in a different order than in Windows.
In Windows the files are sorted alphabetically, while in Linux (Ubuntu Server) they are sorted in some other order.

I took the plugin in the hope that both Linux and Windows will have the same sorting:(
Judging by the fact that there is only one request for 2019, you should not expect support

It'd just be listing based on the default file sorting of the filesystem of the OS it's running on. I wouldn't say it's a bug necessarily, it depends on your usage.

Could you not sort the list in PAWN after the fact? What's the particular use case for having a consistent file order in the listing? That would help to understand why this would be necessary and if something else is possible

For example I wanted to use your library to update mysql schema. Where the folder structure would look like this:
2024_01_01_patch1.sql
2024_03_01_patch2.sql
etc...
And it's critical that sorting is different in Linux and Windows. After all, the patches will not be applied in order from a lower date to a higher date. It's chaotic. Which for a MySQL schema is very critical.

Is there a reason that you could not sort the filenames in PAWN after getting them from the file list function?

I can't remember now. Seems to think that at some point these patches might become too many, and in PAWN we don't have dynamic memory to take and sort this stuff with an exact guarantee that everything will work fine.
