Spatial observability is not a dashboard with a 3D skin. Here is how you tell the difference. Each test names a place the fog used to cost you time.
- Continuity. The payments service today is the one you saw last Tuesday, wherever the layout draws it. Returning is a comparison, so you notice what changed instead of rebuilding it from scratch.
- Proximity. Stand at a node and the blast radius is already in frame: who calls in, what it depends on, where a fault spreads. No query to write, no filter to babysit.
- Memory. Your position and what you have ruled out persist across the incident, and the AI partner beside you reads that same context. The thread is never lost.
Remove those three costs and the path from "something is wrong" to "it is fixed" gets shorter. That is the point.
A dashboard can only show what is reporting. It cannot draw the service that should be there and isn't. Spatial observability renders that gap as a phantom, lit among the live callers still reaching for it, so absence points at its own cause.

Some grids are synthetic scenarios we point chaos at on cue; others are real systems of our own. We label which is which, because a place has to tell the truth about itself.
OpenTelemetry-native, with no proprietary agents to install. Use any OTel-compatible collector, export your data whenever you want, and keep it in the format it arrived in. No query language to learn, nothing locked in.
