Add local font selection for supported browsers and desktop #1340

Description

@Keavon

    Sure @AmreetKumarkhuntia, tomorrow I can respond with a few tips outlining how to approach this. But if you're new to the code, I also recommend joining our code contributors introductory workshop on the Discord server at 17:00 GMT so you can get a feel for the code base as a whole, and the process of contributing.

    I've unassigned you from the issue @HarmanHans - if you want to continue then please just leave a comment. If you're stuck then feel free to submit a draft PR with any code changes you have so far. Thanks for your interest in helping to contribute to this project.
