Problem

Solution

Precedence: SUPER_BOARD_HOST > Codex ids > OPENCODE > CLAUDECODE > config host > exit 65, exactly as #39 orders it. A live env sign beats the saved config, so a Codex lane under a Claude-configured board still answers codex.

Acceptance criteria

Iteration history

Lane Done Time Details
🔨 builder ✅ Oct 19 bash tests/run-safety.sh → PASS 60 suites (py3.9, py3.12) · 621b38e

Risk

🟡 Medium · a Claude shell without CLAUDECODE now halts instead of running; SUPER_BOARD_HOST or config host is the escape hatch. Existing configs get host added on the next setup fix.

…aude

- super-board-host.sh prints claude only on CLAUDECODE; no sign exits 65 with a SUPER_BOARD_HOST hint on stderr
- SUPER_BOARD_HOST accepts opencode; any other value still exits 64
- run-workflow.md: exit 65 or opencode halts before any claim with a host-selection line
- tests/test-host.sh covers the new cases

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
- super-board-host.sh: OPENCODE=1 prints opencode, checked before CLAUDECODE (leaks from a parent Claude session); AGENT=1 ignored
- --config <file> reads the top-level host key when no override and no env sign; a bad value exits 64
- setup fix always writes a missing host from --host; check flags any value outside claude/codex/opencode
- config-schema.json and onboard.md document host next to worker_backend
- signal recorded on opencode v2.0.22 in the script header

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
- docs/hosts.md: one row per host value (claude, codex, opencode) with tested version, run, sign-in and gaps
- documents the detection order and the OpenCode v2.0.22 external_directory gap (attended-only)
- README Install links the page
- tests/test-hosts-doc.sh fails when a SUPER_BOARD_HOST value has no row
