🧩 ServiceHub

ServiceHub is a modular service concentrator designed to dynamically load, execute, and manage independent modules using reflection, in a decoupled and extensible way.

Its main goal is to provide a lightweight and reusable foundation for applications that need to run background tasks, services, or processes without depending on specific application frameworks (WinForms, WPF, ASP.NET, etc.).

🎯 Project Goals

Provide a single core (Hub) capable of:

  • Discovering modules dynamically
    • Loading modules from external DLLs
    • Managing module lifecycle
    • Enable development of loosely coupled, reusable modules
  • Maintain a minimalist, clean, and extensible architecture
  • Be compatible with:
    • Modern .NET (.NET 10)

🧠 Philosophy

Modularity first

Each module is an autonomous unit (plugin / pod) that exposes its functionality through well-defined contracts.

Contracts over implementations

The core only knows interfaces, never concrete implementations.

No unnecessary dependencies

The core and contracts do not depend on UI frameworks, web services, or heavy external libraries.

Designed to evolve

Built to grow into:

  • Background execution
  • Task queues
  • State management
  • Specialized modules (scheduler, workers, etc.)

🔌 Modules

A module is a DLL that:

  • Implements a common interface
  • Is dynamically loaded via reflection
  • Manages its own internal state
  • Communicates with the Hub through a shared context

Modules can:

  • Run background logic
  • Expose services to other modules
  • Act as workers, schedulers, or resource providers

The project is currently in the architecture and contract definition phase.
