Summary

ruby/setup-ruby with bundler-cache: true took 4–6 minutes on a cold gem cache (every job in the run after the merge to main). The lockfile only listed arm64-darwin-23 and ruby, so on the x86_64 Linux runners Bundler compiled sqlite3 (the bundled SQLite amalgamation), google-protobuf and ruby_wasm from source (~3m24s of silence after the last gem finished installing in the SQLite job).

This adds the x86_64-linux platform to Gemfile.lock, so the prebuilt variants of those gems are used. BUNDLED WITH stays at 2.5.10.

Checklist

  • examples/ is regenerated (rake sqlc_generate_process) and committed — n/a, no generator change
  • Tests added or updated — n/a, CI-only change; the PR's CI runs are the measurement
  • The generated code stays RuboCop-clean and Steep-clean — unchanged
  • Labelled (documentation/other) — to be set by a maintainer (CI/tooling change)

…tive gems

Without a Linux platform in the lockfile, Bundler on the GitHub runners compiled sqlc's
sqlite3 (bundled SQLite amalgamation), google-protobuf and ruby_wasm from source, which made
ruby/setup-ruby take 4-6 minutes on a cold gem cache. The lockfile now also resolves their
prebuilt x86_64-linux variants.
