Bumps axios from 0.28.1 to 0.35.0.

Release notes

Sourced from axios's releases.

v0.35.0 — November 2, 2026

This release aligns request option handling, parameter validation and form serialization across Node and browser runtimes on the v0.x line, with some stricter validation, and moves v0.x CI onto Namespace runners.

⚠️ Breaking Changes & Deprecations

  • Parameter Depth Limit: params nested deeper than 100 levels now reject with ERR_BAD_OPTION_VALUE. (#11243)
  • Form Index Serialization: Sparse arrays and non-canonical numeric form indexes, such as 01, now serialize as keyed objects instead of being collapsed into arrays. (#11243)
  • Native Proxy Agents: On runtimes with native environment proxy support, agents that override native pool-management or TLS-session lifecycle hooks now reject with ERR_BAD_OPTION_VALUE. Use an agent constructed without proxyEnv for these configurations. Plain subclasses are still supported, and public type signatures are unchanged. (#11243)

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Connection Pools & Agents: When axios selects or reuses a direct connection pool, it now keeps live native agent options, pool controls, and custom connection and pool-name hooks. Only the selected protocol's agent is adapted, including on redirects, and the configured agent's destroy() also cleans up its direct pool. Cached direct pools stay selected after public proxy options are removed or replaced. (#11243)
  • Parameter Validation: Enumerable custom-object params roots are now validated consistently before merging. Array validation checks canonical numeric elements, including hidden and inherited slots, and ignores named metadata. Legacy runtimes use bounded scans and never mutate caller objects. (#11243)
  • Form Serialization: Hidden and inherited array-like numeric indexes are unwrapped, sparse arrays are preserved, and non-canonical numeric field names survive JSON serialization. Inherited read-only numeric slots no longer block conversion or multipart serialization. (#11243)
  • FileList Handling: FileList values are copied by index without relying on host-object reflection, and are converted before multipart iteration. Incomplete collections fall back to the unconverted-value path instead of emitting a partial list. (#11243)
  • Upload & Data URL Limits: Streamed uploads honor the configured byte limit across transports. Data URL size checks follow the decoder's encoding rules, including bare data:base64,... metadata. (#11243)
  • Legacy Runtime Compatibility: The affected browser helpers stay compatible with ES5 number and reflection APIs and no longer depend on property enumeration order. (#11243)

🔧 Maintenance & Chores

  • CI Infrastructure: v0.x workflow jobs now run on the namespace-profile-axios Namespace runner profile. The npm publish job stays on GitHub-hosted runners so provenance and trusted publishing keep working. Firefox is installed through a SHA-pinned browser-actions/setup-firefox step in the CI and release-branch workflows for Karma browser tests. (#11398, #11416)
  • Release: Bumped the version to 0.35.0. (#11417)

v0.34.0 — September 13, 2026

This release hardens request configuration and proxy handling, adds caller diagnostics and cancellation context, and tightens TypeScript header types.

⚠️ Breaking Changes & Deprecations

  • Header Types: TypeScript now rejects header values that are Promises, functions, or objects with custom toString() methods. Resolve promises, call functions, or explicitly convert objects before assigning header values. Supported scalar, array, and grouped headers remain available. (#11209)
  • Proxy Routing: NO_PROXY / no_proxy entries now support IPv4 and IPv6 CIDR ranges. Previously ineffective ranges now cause matching IP destinations to bypass the proxy; review existing ranges when upgrading. (#11172)

🔒 Security Fixes

  • Request Configuration: Prevent inherited properties from influencing form serializer options, default request methods, headers on interceptor-returned configs, and HTTP redirect hooks. Applications relying on inherited options must define those values as own properties. (#11172)
  • Hostname Processing: Replace quadratic regular-expression backtracking in proxy bypass hostname normalization with a linear scan, preventing excessive processing of crafted redirect hostnames. (#11172)

🚀 New Features

  • Caller Diagnostics: Enable captureCallerStack: true on a request or instance to append original caller frames to asynchronous error stacks. Disabled by default. (#11209)
  • Cancellation Context: Preserve AbortSignal.reason as CanceledError.reason, including objects and falsy values. Native and structural signals retain their identity and live getters through config merging. (#11209)

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Proxy Protocols: Accept HTTP(S) proxy schemes with or without a trailing colon, including casing and surrounding whitespace variations. Invalid nonempty strings now fail before connecting with ERR_BAD_OPTION_VALUE; redirect failures retain ERR_FR_REDIRECTION_FAILURE wrapping. Omitted protocols continue to inherit the target protocol. (#11182)
  • Request Interceptors: Route synchronous interceptor and dispatch failures through response interceptors. Await recovery promises before dispatch; rejected recovery prevents sending the request, while successful recovery retains the last request config and ignores recovery return values. (#11209)
  • Error Compatibility: Allow Axios to load alongside a read-only Error.prototype.toJSON, while preserving supplied own property descriptors and setters. (#11209)
