Google Summer of Code

statsmodels has acted as a mentoring organization for a number of students in the Google Summer of Code program. Not all of the ideas described below have been realized, so these links may provide ideas for useful extensions to statsmodels:

• Google Summer of Code 2012
• SMEP: Empirical Likelihood
• SMEP: Nonparametric Estimation
• SMEP: System of Equations
• SMEP: Non Linear Models

The main page for a list of ideas and some ongoing projects is :

• Ideas for Enhancement Projects

The list of pages, shows additional SMEPs, that are either just ideas and wishlists by topic or work in progress
