Issues

• Link establishment retry: initiator keeps reporting the ORIGINAL link_id while the wire id changed (Codeberg #66)

• Apple TCP liveness: set keepalive interval/count + RXT conn-drop so iOS detects a dead socket in ~24 s, like Linux

• reconnect_interface(id): force a TCP client to reconnect + re-resolve + re-announce now (network change)

• Direct links: a public retire_direct_link(&LinkId) so a host can force fallback on application liveness

CIRISAI/leviculum#83 · Filter by author emooreatx opened on Oct 12, 2026

• Direct links: a host-decided accept policy (DirectLinkRequested + accept/reject), so a node needn't reveal its address to every identified peer

• TCP interfaces: a per-interface hw_mtu override, so a base-MTU (500) link can be stood up on loopback

• TCP server interface can't listen on IPv6: listen_ip:port is formatted without brackets (interface_build/tcp.rs:90)

• Per-request link accept hook: let the host refuse a link request before the proof (per-peer rate limits today must accept, identify, then close)

• Scoped dial: send a no-path link request only toward a named next hop, not on every interface (CIRISEdge#724)

• One radio, two networks: native Reticulum and MeshCore relaying on a single SX1262

• leviculum-std: one Mutex<RegistryInner> serializes link liveness against resource-event volume (inbound sibling of #29/#45)

• Upstream's pre-push hook: ref guard breaks our topology, Claude-file guard is worth adapting

• The CC 5.1 answer: no efficient multicast at RC1 — flat cascade wins; what a mesh multicast primitive would require

• Relay-by-default is intentional: define and prove the relay safety envelope
