Since
ubuntu-latestmoved to Ubuntu 26.04, every "Build image" run fails atactions/setup-pythonwith "The version '3.9' with architecture 'x64' was not found for Ubuntu 26.04" (e.g. #4257, #4258, panagram-1.1.0, gwtc_analysis-0.9.0). Pinning the runner toubuntu-24.04restores the environment the builds ran on until now, with no other change. Longer term, movingpython-versionoff 3.9 would let it go back toubuntu-latest.Tested on a fork: the unchanged workflow with only this line changed passes on
ubuntu-24.04(setup-python 3.9 and the fullbuild-and-testovercombinations/): https://github.com/TinusTK/multi-package-containers/actions/runs/40982063831Also needed for #4255 and #4256, whose builds will hit the same error once approved.
