Put Check Calibration Code into Base

What's the status on this? We would like to know what the quality of calibration will be and having your code to look at will help us.

@mike-matera In the past we have simply run the calibration checker separately. I imagine we will still do that, whether or not we have copied the checker to this repository.

If I'm not mistaken we have actually added it to the swarmie hard drive image we are distributing/using.
