We noticed that this application's interface or documentation appears to be predominantly in Chinese. The catalog serves a worldwide audience, and applications that show an English interface by default can be included and reach many more users internationally.

Might this application also be of interest to users outside China? If so, would you consider making English the default — for example by following the system locale (LANG / LC_*) and falling back to English outside a Chinese locale? That would let us include it in the catalog so that many more people around the world can discover and enjoy it.

Thank you for the invitation and for auto-discovering LTools! 🙏 All three concerns are now addressed in v0.1.6:

🌏 English interface by default (done)

LTools now follows the system locale out of the box:

• Chinese locales (zh-*) → Chinese interface (unchanged)
• All other locales → English interface by default
• Users can override anytime in Settings → General → Language (Follow System / 简体中文 / English); the choice is persisted

All 20+ built-in plugins — UI strings, plugin names and descriptions, the plugin market, global search, shortcuts and every standalone window — are bilingual now. Backend error messages are translated at display time as well. (README.en.md)

🐛 error-glibc-too-new / error-app-exits — root cause found and fixed

The v0.1.5 AppImage was built on Ubuntu 24.04, so the bundled libwebkit2gtk-4.1.so.0 / libgtk-3.so.0 required GLIBC_2.38 and the app exited immediately on older systems (exactly the error visible in the test log). Two build-infrastructure drifts were fixed in the release workflow:

• Linux builds are now pinned to ubuntu-22.04 (glibc 2.35), so the AppImage runs on distros with glibc ≥ 2.35 (Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12, Fedora 36+…)
• The wails3 CLI is pinned to v3.0.0-alpha.74 (matching go.mod; @latest had drifted to a beta that needs gtk4)

An MIT LICENSE file has been added — the README badge always pointed to it, but the file itself was missing.

📝 Repository description (done)

The GitHub repo description is now English-first ("LTools - A plugin-based cross-platform desktop toolbox built with Wails v3. 插件式跨平台桌面工具箱"), so the catalog entry text is no longer Chinese-only.

The entry should now point at the ltools-v0.1.6-linux-amd64.AppImage asset. Happy to make any further adjustments — re-test away! 🚀

1. 默认英文界面：界面语言跟随系统区域设置——中文环境显示中文，其他环境默认英文，可在设置中手动切换；全部 20+ 插件的界面、名称与描述均已双语化
2. error-glibc-too-new / error-app-exits 根因已修复：v0.1.5 的 AppImage 在 Ubuntu 24.04 上构建，捆绑的 webkit/gtk 要求 GLIBC_2.38，在旧系统上直接退出；现已固定在 ubuntu-22.04 构建并钉住 wails3 CLI 版本
3. License：已补充缺失的 MIT LICENSE 文件；仓库描述也已改为英文优先

Quick follow-up: a dictionary audit against the Go plugin metadata caught a few remaining untranslated plugin display names (Screenshot / Password Vault / Password Generator / IP Info / Markdown Editor / App Launcher). Fixed and shipped in v0.1.7 — please test that release instead of v0.1.6. 🙏
