@probonopd Thanks for reporting this. The .DirIcon issue is fixed in Redis Desktop Client v0.2.10.

In v0.2.9, .DirIcon was an absolute symlink to the build runner's filesystem. We upgraded Tauri CLI to 2.12.0 and added AppImage metadata regression checks. We also downloaded the published v0.2.10 AppImage and verified that .DirIcon is now a valid relative symlink to Redis Desktop Client.png, with the PNG present inside the AppImage. The release workflow and CI both passed.

Could you please rerun the catalog test for this PR against v0.2.10? Thank you!

We noticed that this application's interface or documentation appears to be predominantly in Chinese. The catalog serves a worldwide audience, and applications that show an English interface by default can be included and reach many more users internationally.

Might this application also be of interest to users outside China? If so, would you consider making English the default — for example by following the system locale (LANG / LC_*) and falling back to English outside a Chinese locale? That would let us include it in the catalog so that many more people around the world can discover and enjoy it.
