  • Latest release: v7.2.11 (2026-09-22T18:02:17Z)
  • AppImage asset: fingrom_Linux.AppImage

❌ Test failure

@lyskouski: this pull request adds the AppImage from your GitHub repository to the AppImage catalog; the test reports the following. Could you have a look?

Names:

WARNING: AppImage name 'fingrom_Linux.AppImage': should not contain 'Linux', since all AppImages are for Linux (e.g. 'App-1.0-x86_64.AppImage', not 'App-1.0-linux-x86_64.AppImage')
  • The AppImage could not be mounted. AppImageHub currently supports only AppImages with a SquashFS file system; other formats such as DwarFS (used, e.g., by uruntime and quick-sharun) are not supported yet.
  • Please check the remarks about the names below.

First error in the log:

ERROR: Could not mount the AppImage. AppImageHub currently supports only AppImages with a SquashFS file system

What next: once the AppImage is fixed (e.g. in a new release), comment /retest here to test it again. If it should not be in the catalog after all, close this pull request; an app that is already in the catalog can be removed by a maintainer with /remove.

Hello @probonopd,

Looks like I'm stack

# Fatal error in: ../../media/engine/adm_helpers.cc, line 39
# last system error: 88
# Check failed: 0 == adm->Init() (0 vs. -1)
# Failed to initialize the ADM.

Fingrom uses WebRTC to synchronise devices, which requires libpulse0. However, there are no audio devices (PulseAudio/ALSA) in the test pipeline under firejail + headless CI. WebRTC treats this as a hard check failure and aborts the whole process, meaning that no window appears and the test fails.

In this case, maybe your application could show a nice dialog with an error message informing the user what the requirements are? That would be sufficient to pass the test. Thanks!

Compatibility: self-contained (ships its own C library)

Names:

WARNING: File name 'app-finance': does not match the name of the application in its desktop file ('Fingrom'); the file should be named after the application
WARNING: The names of the repository, the AppImage and the README differ: repository 'app-finance', AppImage 'Fingrom', README 'Financial Accounting Application'

Notes:

  • File name 'app-finance': all-lowercase names are typically used for command line tools, but the desktop file does not set Terminal=true. If this is a graphical application, please name the file after the application as it is spelled, with capitals where it has them (e.g. 'Krita'); if it is a command line tool, set Terminal=true in its desktop file.

Warnings:

  • Please check the remarks about the names below.
  • The repository, the AppImage and the README (whichever exist) call the application by different names (see the remarks below). Please check that they all belong to the same application, and that the name of the file in data/ is the right one.
  • The AppImage contains no update information, so users cannot update it with AppImageUpdate or similar tools. Please consider embedding it when building the AppImage (e.g., appimagetool -u) and publishing the .zsync file next to the AppImage; see https://docs.appimage.org/packaging-guide/optional/updates.html
