Trade school for welding out of high school, hired on before I'd even finished. Worked a few years on the shop floor and became a lead. Then car sales for several years: Nissan, Subaru, Chevy to name a few. A remote concierge role at Verse.io (now Verse.ai) put me close to the tools actually running a business, and wanted more of a challenge in life. I started writing code nights and weekends while working, then started freelancing and sourcing my own clients when my skills reached a professional threshold.
