Motivation
Currently, Code Island Buddy is mainly used to monitor AI coding agent activity and display their status on the iPhone.
It would be even more powerful if the Buddy app could go beyond passive monitoring and become an interactive control interface for AI coding agents.
Proposed Feature
Allow users to interact with the agent directly from their iPhone, for example:
Send instructions directly to the AI agent without switching back to the Mac.
Answer questions / make choices when the agent requires user input.
Approve or deny permissions directly from the iPhone.
Grant authorization for actions that require user confirmation.
Handle other interactive actions that currently require the user to return to the Mac.
In other words, the goal would be to make Code Island Buddy not just a status monitor, but a remote control interface for AI coding agents.
For example, if Claude Code is running a long task on my Mac and asks:
"Do you want me to proceed with this operation?"
I should be able to see the request on my iPhone and choose an option directly, without having to return to my Mac.
This would make the iPhone/Apple Watch companion significantly more useful for monitoring and managing long-running AI coding tasks remotely.
