Your purpose in using this API:
I am building an app called Hikma, a free Islamic companion app for Android
(React Native / Expo). It includes prayer times, qibla, a Qur'an
reader, and a section for du'as and adhkar. The app is free, has
no paywall on worship features, and is built solo. It is not yet
published; I am preparing for a Play Store release.
I would like to use the Hisn al-Muslim collection — Arabic text
with translation and source references — as the basis for the
du'a and dhikr section. My current du'a data has no documented
provenance, and I am not willing to ship sacred text to users on
that basis. I would rather rebuild the section on a source that
has been manually checked.
I would also like to ask specifically about offline use: the app
supports offline access, which matters for users with limited
data. That would mean bundling the text in the app rather than
fetching it live. Is that permitted, and if so, under what
conditions and with what attribution? If bundling is not
something you allow, I would appreciate knowing that too — I
would rather adjust the design than proceed on an assumption.

API rate limits:
- Maximum requests per second: 5
- Maximum requests per day: 5000
(Modest — I proxy through my own backend and cache responses,
so traffic to your API stays low regardless of user numbers.)

Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of
hadith data or programmatic API access?
An offline dump would suit my use case best, since the du'a
collection is static and needs to work without a network
connection. API access would also be useful for keeping the data
in sync with your corrections over time — so ideally both, but
the dump is the more important of the two.

What are the languages in which would you like hadith data?
Arabic and English primarily. The app currently supports 16
languages, so if Hisn al-Muslim is available in any additional
languages (Urdu, Turkish, French, Indonesian, Bosnian, Somali),
I would be interested in those as well.

Node.js (Express backend proxying to the app).
