About language, I'm pretty sure that you need to bundle some language pack for KDE base.

Yes, this is an issue of the latest release. I have tried the following ones:

• Knights-25.12.3-1-anylinux-x86_64.AppImage OK
• Knights-26.04.0-1-anylinux-x86_64.AppImage OK
• Knights-26.04.1-1-anylinux-x86_64.AppImage SLOW

About localization, all of them have the issue of being translated in half.

this lag doesn't happen with amd gpu, could the issue be related to nvidia proprietary driver? or is the kiconthemes-mini?

Alright the issue is kiconthemes-mini.

All that package does is remove the dependency to libKF6BreezeIcons.so.6, which is a 25 MiB library that contains the breeze icon theme.

This means the app looks in your /usr/share/icons/hicolor for the icons and causes lag, for some reason it only happens on your system.

Another weird thing is that kiconthemes-mini was already used on older releases which you said did not lag, no idea why it has this issue now.
