Bind to vim make command and jump to C++ compilation error when using RCpp

I like your package but it doesn't give me as much feedback as RStudio. I am specially looking to bind the vim :make command so that it compiles the package and jumps to the compilation error in my C++ files. Is there any way that I can achieve that sort of functionality?

If you already have a Makefile, then you just have to teach vim the format of the output (see help on errorformat) to populate the quickfix with jump locations.

For a start, you could try:

:setlocal makeprg=R\ CMD\ INSTALL\ .
:make
:copen

However, you will notice that lines starting with "*" needs to be filtered out. If I find time, I'll have a look how this could be integrated into my plugin. If you do make any progress in the meantime, please keep me posted.
