i did not get my venv throught create python environment

22bba015 I created the virtual environment with python3 -m venv .venv command, and I was facing the same issue as you mentioned, so I went into the json and made the python.venvFolders list object empty, then vscode was able to read the virtual environment.

22bba015 Manas Jha (@HUMANCODERMJ) Thanks for reporting the issue. Could you please try the following things and provide some additional info to help us diagnose?

1. Please update Python Environments to the latest stable release and retry in a small, clean workspace.
2. Which exact command and options did you use? Is it Python: Create Environment, the Environment Managers view, Quick Create, or Custom Create?
3. Did any notification/error appeared? After the failure, do .venv\pyvenv.cfg and .venv\Scripts\python.exe exist? Also check for .venv-1, since the extension creates that name when .venv already exists.
4. Please provide the complete Output → Python Environments log from window reload through creation and refresh. Thanks.
