Firmware: MeshCore v17
Issue: The e-ink screen shows "message zero" on the first screen and never updates to show incoming messages, even when receiving direct messages. The device works fine otherwise – messages send and receive correctly, and the screen itself functions.
Steps to reproduce:
- Flash MeshCore v17 on ThinkNode M1
- Connect to phone via Bluetooth
- Send direct messages to the device
- Check the e-ink screen – it remains stuck on "message zero"
Expected behavior: Incoming messages should appear on the messages screen/tab.
Actual behavior: Screen never shows any messages.
Additional info: This appears to be a firmware issue with button/tab handling for the messages screen not being properly wired up. A YouTube video on the ThinkNode M1 with MeshCore also mentions this as a known button configuration problem.
