Centralize file and directory pattern matching

Tasks

  • Extract matchesPattern(), matchesIgnorePattern() from functions.php
  • Create engine/data/directory.php with pattern matching methods
  • Add support for regex patterns and exclusions
  • Implement performance optimizations for large directories
  • Deploy independently - improves directory scanning
