LocalDevVPN does not adhere to the local device IP / tunnel IP (order reversed) - iOS 27 Public Beta (latest)

Tunnel: 10.7.0.0
Device: 10.7.0.1

After connecting...

Local device IP: 10.7.0.0
Tunnel IP: 10.7.0.1

Thanks. It may be worth keeping this issue open for visibility as I expect you’ll otherwise receive a lot of duplicate questions.

Is there any way to work around this in the interim by manually configuring specific tunnel/device ips or different subnet combinations?

I don’t really know why it would be reversed or broken, maybe try reinstalling or re adding the vpn profile in settings.

I don’t know either… this is a new issue for me.

It messes up communication with SideStore / LiveContainer + SideStore so you can’t refresh applications.

I have tried re-installing and manually removing the LocalDevVPN profile (as visible in a screenshot below where it prompts to create a new one).

Last screenshot is SideStore connection config. As LocalDevVPN is not adhering to the settings specified and instead inverting the device / tunnel IP it breaks the connection.

Edit: I could also be completely wrong, of course.

Fixed in latest update. Get it on the App Store.
