+The Techical Leadership Committee is a new committee of the Haskell Foundation tasked with one purpose: to formulate a vision for the Haskell Foundation's technical agenda, and to allocate the Foundation's resources towards achieving this vision.
+
+The Haskell Foundation is currently looking for the first members of this committee. As per the [committee bylaws](https://gitlab.haskell.org/hf/meta/-/blob/eebfdd878ff0e59c56bfd73cf1e74a2dd8db8fea/committees/technical-leadership.md), we are currently looking to fill 3 to 5 positions on this committee.

+Prospective members of this committee should:
+* have significant experience with Haskell, to the extent that they can formulate a technical vision for Haskell;
+* have enough bandwith to meet regularly, and manage ongoing projects on behalf of the Haskell Foundation.
+
+Interested parties can submit a cover letter explaining, why they should be chosen, to [tlc-formation@haskell.foundation](mailto:tlc-formation@haskell.foundation). Applications will be accepted over the next two weeks, until and including August 17^th^, 2026.
