Copilot keeps interfering with the chat window

When I resize the chat window it often goes full screen covering my whole dekstop. If the chat window is in the background it can suddenly pop-over and cover XCode. If I try to move it to the side it might bounce around, possible covering the while screen again. This is making the chat window very annoying.
Is there a way to make this stop? It is not helpful in any way.
