Overlay won't go away

Sorry I don't know how to reproduce but I tried hitting escape and clicking everywhere and changing tabs, it wouldn't disappear:

While the screen recording above is from an offline mode, it also happened to me earlier in online mode.

Suggestion:

• Maybe hitting the esc and/or clicking anywhere should hide all overlays?

This issue was reported on DevTools version 2.28.4 without reproduction steps. The DevTools UI and overlay architecture have evolved significantly since then (currently on version 2.61.0).

If you are still experiencing this issue with DevTools on the latest Flutter stable release, please let us know with reproduction steps and we will take a look.
