Hummingbird stopped working on MacOS 15.5

I've upgraded my MBP M4 to the latest macOS, and I can no longer benefit from Hummingbird.

I've tried re-enabling the Accessibility setting and attempted other hotkey combinations, but unfortunately to no avail.

This is my work computer — around 40 days old — and I noticed I haven't yet purchased a license to it. I just did, and it works again now.

It's not clear, whether:

• There's an undisclosed trial period that expires without notice.
• Inserting the key has somehow triggered functionality.
• I was consistently out of luck even after a reboot.

Perhaps you've had it installed previously? Hummingbird does not have a "per seat" licensing scheme. You can simply use your key on multiple machines.

If you email me from the purchase account, I can resend your key if you've lost it and issue a refund for the duplicate purchase.

In sequence:

1. I had Hummingbird installed to this computer, but never activated its license.
2. It was working as expected.
3. I updated MacOS to 15.5 from the immediate previous version.
4. Hummingbird stopped working.
5. I tried fixing to the extent of my knowledge, without success.
6. I noticed my instance of Hummingbird wasn't activated.
7. I activated it with a license.
8. Hummingbird now works again.

I am not sure how the items above are related, if at all, but I wanted to offer the full context of it in case there's anything useful. Otherwise feel free to close this issue.

In regard to the license: I had already purchased a license to my personal computer years ago — thanks for this amazing software BTW, specially because I come from 15y in Linux. I figured I could just reuse my personal license, as I did before in personal context, though I'm really keeping work things separate — and I'd rather support the product anyway. 😉

Mmm, best I can tell is that the lockout after the trial period ended somehow wasn't working until the update. I'm not sure how that could happen exactly.
