From 1d9c600c2f3aaeb8f2257980fe4286ca9e00ef35 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?UTF-8?q?Yuniel=20Acosta=20P=C3=A9rez?= <33158051+yacosta738@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Sun, 25 Oct 2026 14:13:21 +0100 Subject: [PATCH 1/8] feat(huginn): invoke skills explicitly with /skill:name Add a host-owned /skill: [task] routing path that resolves the skill through the approved catalog and the read-only on-demand loader before any model turn starts. - Parse and bound the command, resolve only selected catalog entries, and pass the task text through unchanged as user input. - Keep skill instructions as lower-trust task data with source provenance; effect approvals still apply to every modifying tool call. - Reject unknown, malformed, ambiguous, cancelled or unavailable skills before inference, tool effects or any persisted assistant turn. - Expose skill names and descriptions through the existing host command completion for TUI, line mode, run and JSON output, including resume. - Reset the composer when a prompt template expansion is rejected so the TUI stays usable after an indirect skill invocation attempt. The plugin command grammar and reserved command rules are unchanged. --- apps/huginn/src/main.rs | 48 ++-- apps/huginn/src/prompts.rs | 9 +- apps/huginn/tests/skill_invocation.rs | 185 +++++++++++++ apps/huginn/tests/tui.rs | 116 ++++++++ crates/huginn/application/src/loop_engine.rs | 63 ++++- crates/huginn/application/src/skills.rs | 117 ++++++++ crates/huginn/core/src/lib.rs | 9 + crates/huginn/presentation/src/state.rs | 8 +- crates/huginn/presentation/src/terminal.rs | 6 +- .../huginn/runtime/tests/coding_workflow.rs | 260 ++++++++++++++++++ docs/huginn/README.md | 5 +- docs/huginn/skills.md | 39 ++- 12 files changed, 835 insertions(+), 30 deletions(-) create mode 100644 apps/huginn/tests/skill_invocation.rs diff --git a/apps/huginn/src/main.rs b/apps/huginn/src/main.rs index 7586392d..f7f8b894 100644 --- a/apps/huginn/src/main.rs +++ b/apps/huginn/src/main.rs @@ -494,7 +494,11 @@ async fn run_prompt_loop( let Some(line) = line else { break;
