Problem
“Listed connections” and “Listed mcp servers” appear as bulky gray blocks above Myra’s name. They interrupt the conversation, feel detached from her response, and say little about what she found.
Goal
Make tool activity easy to understand and inspect while keeping the agent’s answer the main focus.
Proposed solution
Use the mockup below: compact rows within the agent’s response, beneath its name, with smaller icons and tighter spacing.
- Use clear labels such as “Checked connections,” with a brief result when useful.
- Keep each call visible; expand it for readable details.
- Keep running, completed, and failed states clear. Approval requests remain prominent.
- Apply this to ordinary tool calls generally, using Corbits’ existing design system.
Done when the chat matches this hierarchy during execution and in saved conversations, including longer call sequences and narrow layouts.
Visual reference
Option 1. Focus on the tool-call treatment; surrounding chat is context.
