macOS: Desktop notifications don't work due to security limitation with beeep

The honk is undeniably a strong signal, and has already trained me in ~2 days to immediately check my toolbar.

But when one has a lot of PRs in flight, it can be hard to tell what the honk was for at a glance.

A desktop notification could help make it clear what changed, and give a direct link to open the PR in question.

I don't know if there are cross-platform libraries to deal with those, or if such a standard thing even exists on Linux or Windows, but it'd be nice for me, a troglodyte Mac user.

@imjasonh - Thanks for the feedback! This is on my radar.

Goose does integrate with https://github.com/gen2brain/beeep for sending notifications - but modern versions of macOS seem to refuse notifications from unsigned binaries, probably as a spam-prevention technique.

You've inspired a slightly different idea though - which would still be useful with or without notifications - highlighting recently updated PR's. For example: if it caused a honk in the last 15 minutes, it should have a honk symbol next to it; or maybe a green dot instead of a white dot, or maybe both, I'll have to play around.

Apparently this is more reliable under macOS 26; but I'll wait until we're signing binaries to close this for everyone.
