What is the value from the calculation in-game?

Image There is no in-game DPS value available for this build, so I cannot directly compare the calculation to an in-game DPS number. The issue is that the game does not provide a DPS value for this trigger/frog setup.

Without manually enabling “Include in Full DPS” on Elemental Weakness, PoB does not display Full DPS for this build.

When I manually enable “Include in Full DPS” on Elemental Weakness, PoB displays:

Full DPS: 293,785.1
Dark Consequences: 211,864
Doom Blast: 81,757

This makes it appear that PoB is able to calculate the damage, but the Full DPS calculation is not included unless I manually enable Elemental Weakness.

How to reproduce the issue

I am playing a Blood Mage Elemental Witch build using a curse-based frog summoning setup.

Elemental Weakness is the initial skill, which triggers Impending Doom and Doedre’s Undoing. This eventually results in the frog damage that is the main damage source of the build.

The problem is that Elemental Weakness is not automatically included in Full DPS.

If “Include in Full DPS” is disabled, PoB does not show any Full DPS value on the left side.

However, if I manually enable “Include in Full DPS” for Elemental Weakness, PoB immediately displays a Full DPS value of around 293k.

Because poe.ninja takes its DPS data from PoB, the build also has no DPS displayed on poe.ninja unless this is manually handled in PoB.

I would like to know whether this is expected behaviour for trigger/curse-based builds, or whether PoB should automatically include the relevant trigger chain in Full DPS.

I would expect PoB to either automatically include the relevant trigger chain in Full DPS, or provide a clear way for this type of build to be represented in Full DPS without manually selecting the initial curse as the DPS skill.

The important point is that the actual damage comes from the triggered chain rather than from Elemental Weakness itself.

How to reproduce this? (AI told me this 😂🐸)

  1. Import/create the Blood Mage Elemental Witch build.
  2. Set Elemental Weakness as the relevant skill.
  3. Add Impending Doom and Doedre’s Undoing as trigger supports.
  4. Leave “Include in Full DPS” disabled for Elemental Weakness.
  5. Observe that Full DPS is not displayed on the left side.
  6. Enable “Include in Full DPS” for Elemental Weakness.
  7. Observe that Full DPS immediately appears and shows approximately 293k DPS.
