Local DE (Germany) currently lacks a dedicated withdrawal function for customers to cancel their contracts. As of June 19, 2026, § 356a BGB (implementing EU Directive 2023/2673) legally requires businesses offering distance contracts via an online interface to provide a functional, permanently accessible electronic withdrawal function. Missing or non-compliant withdrawal information can additionally extend the withdrawal period to 12 months and 14 days under § 356 (3) BGB — a separate, pre-existing compliance risk tied to defective withdrawal instructions. For concerts and leisure events with a fixed date, the statutory right of withdrawal is generally excluded under § 312g (2) No. 9 BGB, since these qualify as services connected to leisure activities tied to a specific date . However, this exclusion applies to our own direct sales as the organizer — it does not automatically extend to secondary-market/resale scenarios, per the Kammergericht Berlin ruling of March 6, 2025 (case no. 23 UKI 5/24), which held that a blanket AGB exclusion is invalid where the seller acts as an intermediary bearing no own capacity risk . So a platform-wide "no withdrawal button because excluded" approach cannot be safely applied without distinguishing these cases.

Flag these submissions internally as "non-statutory / goodwill or reseller-context cancellation" so support/legal can review case-by-case, since the exclusion does not reliably cover secondary-market or intermediary-style sales per KG Berlin .

Update the withdrawal instructions (Widerrufsbelehrung) shown to DE customers to reference the location and behavior of the new withdrawal button, in line with the updated official Muster-Widerrufsbelehrung .
