Sequence (sequenceNode)

Category: Control Flow

Intended behavior

Fires Out 1, Out 2 then Out 3 in turn — one output per incoming trigger, cycling round.

Inputs

ID Label Type Unwired default
inTrigger In trigger undefined
resetTrigger Reset trigger undefined

Outputs

ID Label Type Default
out1 Out 1 trigger undefined
out2 Out 2 trigger undefined
out3 Out 3 trigger undefined

Configuration defaults

{
  "step": 0
}

Observed frontend behavior

This calls the production passive computation with the declared input/config defaults. Cached state, trigger execution and project wiring are separate.

{
  "kind": "passive-default-probe",
  "outputs": {}
}

Observed backend behavior

Offline production passive computation with the same declared defaults; no device or model service is invoked.

Current frontend implementation

Extracted production branches; helper calls and project execution context are defined in the referenced modules.

src/lib/extra-trigger-ops.ts:56

sequenceNode: (_inputs, config, port) => {
    if (port === "resetTrigger") {
      return { nextTriggerPort: null, updatedConfig: { ...config, step: 0 } };
    }
    const step = Math.max(0, Math.trunc(Number(config.step) || 0));
    return {
      nextTriggerPort: SEQUENCE_PORTS[step % SEQUENCE_PORTS.length],
      updatedConfig: { ...config, step: (step + 1) % SEQUENCE_PORTS.length },
    };
  }

Verification limits

  • Default passive probe is an observation, not proof of all configurations, trigger behavior, or correctness. See ../NODE_RUNTIME_AUDIT.md and ../AUDIT_VALIDATION.md for test evidence.
  • Trigger inputs schedule actions; passive evaluation alone does not execute those actions. Wire a trigger source and test the full chain.
