IT collection and former departments

The IT collection was migrated with some metadata overridden by accident.
We have a number or records which were created under former departments and are missing this information.
This is the search query to find the list of affected RECIDs in legacy

What was the overridden metadata, is there an example? Just to be sure I don't miss it.
I couldn't detect any differences in the first few results in the link.
Were there some rules missed? Might be easier to know that for the script.

Many of the records have extra subfields inside 710 tag

The script adds all the missing departments and author to their respective lists in the metadata/custom_field
